Our story
NexGen IT is run by Brent Timmer out of Allendale, Michigan. It is deliberately small. The engineer who takes your call is the engineer who scopes the job, builds it and supports it afterwards — there is no account manager in between, and nothing gets handed to a junior once the contract is signed.
That structure is the whole proposition. Most IT firms specialise narrowly and subcontract the rest, so a project touching networking, storage and Microsoft 365 becomes three vendors and a coordination problem you end up owning. Decades of work across all of those layers means they get designed together instead.
It also means honest answers about scope. If a job is better suited to a larger firm, or a provider closer to you, you will be told that rather than sold something that disappoints everyone.

Where we work
On site anywhere within 90 miles of Allendale — Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon, Grand Haven, Hudsonville, Jenison, Kalamazoo and the towns between them. Microsoft 365, tenancy, cloud and consulting work is delivered remotely and has no radius at all.
Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern, and every message gets a reply within 24 hours.
